Inventa is a leader in the design, creation, and execution of innovative brand experiences, from large scale events and national experiential tours to grassroots local executions. Now in our 29th year, we are at the forefront in the experiential marketing and event space.
Inventa is hiring a set of rockstar Team leads to assist a team of trained Nintendo staff to sample the latest console: Nintendo Switch 2! Along with some of the most recent titles that are exclusive to the console . We are looking for individuals with strong leadership, strong interpersonal skills, experience with large scale events, managing and motivating large teams ! They will be set to ‘surprise and delight’ Nintendo fans in Edmonton and Montreal
To excel in this role, you will have the willingness to be proactive and act, a deep past of relevant experience with overseeing large scale events, and the ability to give direction to and motivate teams under your guidance, in addition to having open availability on for training and shifts (outlined below). Previous experience is required, as well as experience with customer service and public relations.
What You'll Be Doing as a Team Lead:
- Managing small teams and sections within a larger footprint
- Managing line ups and greeting guests
- Facilitating surveys and data collection
- Collecting and completing reporting materials to be submitted to Supervisor in a timely manner
- Liaison with team and Supervisor
- Managing break schedule for staff within designated section
- Offering onsite coaching and feedback to team members – elevating to the standards of the client
- Tracking giveaways and other metrics
- Quick problem solving on site and reporting back to Supervisor
- Assisting with customer concerns or questions
- Supporting Supervisor with other tasks and duties
What you bring to the table:
- Passion for gaming and Nintendo products
- Strong communication and people skills
- 1-3 years of experience in customer service
- 1-3 years experience in leading large-scale events and teams of 10-15 people
Other Requirements:
- Availability for all activation dates
- Ability to travel to venue by own means
- Ability to climb ladders and lift heavy loads (up to 30 pounds)
- Overtime periods where necessary
- Must have access to a smart phone, minimal data, high speed internet and adequate storage space

Pay Rate
- $26/hr
- $50 Flat rate per day of on-call for Back up Supervisor (Nov 26 – Dec 9)

Mandatory Training:
- Week of Nov 17 (2-3 days)
- Client and Inventa training (Virtual)
Activation Dates in all markets:
- November 26-December 9
