What you'll do
The EV Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the Electric Vehicle (EV)
warehouse facility. This role oversees daily warehouse activities, inventory management, facility coordination, and team
supervision to support ongoing EV operations and internal stakeholders.
Facility & Operations Management
- Oversee the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the EV Warehouse, including office areas, yard space,
storage zones, and all onsite activities.
- Serve as the primary point of coordination for all daily facility operations, work activities, and contractor interactions.
- Manage facility access, space planning, and workflow to support EV operational needs and visiting stakeholders.
- Establish, implement, and uphold warehouse operating procedures, safety protocols, and housekeeping standards.
Team Leadership
- Supervise a team of MoveUp employees, including task assignment, scheduling, performance oversight, and daily
operational support.
Inventory & Materials Management
- Maintain full accountability for EV-related inventory, including receiving, storage, tracking, cycle counts, and
reconciliation of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Oversee all shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation, timely processing, and coordination
with internal teams and external vendors.
Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
- Act as the onsite liaison for internal clients, EV project teams, property management, and third-party service
providers.
- Support facility maintenance and upgrades by collaborating with BGIS and other vendors to identify, track, and
resolve building, safety, and infrastructure issues.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and corporate policies governing warehouse and
facility operations.
What you bring
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations, Facilities Management, or a related field; or
equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience managing warehouse and facility operations, including inventory control, shipping/
receiving, and daily coordination.
- At least 3 years of management experience, including supervisory duties, work planning and performance management in
a unionized environment
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory tracking tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate the internal team in multiple activities, deal with stakeholders, and service providers in
a shared facility.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to balance competing priorities.
- Solid business judgment with experience supporting budget tracking and resource optimization.
- Working knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements and participation in JHSC is an asset.
- Familiarity with BC Hydro systems, policies, and the MoveUp Collective Agreement is an asset.
- Ability to work fully onsite and respond to operational issues within the EV warehouse.

Job status : Full time temporary role for approximately three (3) years.
Job location : Powertech Surrey . Due to operational needs, this role will be fully on-site and hybrid/ work from home is not
an option.
Must be able to work fully onsite, respond and travel to address operational issues within the EV warehouse and Powertech
main facility. Occasional weekend and overtime work may be required.
