Indspire is seeking a Graphic Designer (one-year term contract) to support the execution of its day-to-day design needs across campaigns, events, and organizational communications. This role focuses on high-quality production and asset creation, ensuring timely delivery of design outputs that align with established brand standards. Working under the direction of the Manager, Brand & Creative and in collaboration with the Brand & Campaign Designer, this role helps ensure that Indspire’s visual presence remains consistent, polished, and responsive across all platforms and initiatives. This is a hands-on production role that is essential to maintaining workflow efficiency and meeting the high volume of creative demands across the Communications & Marketing team.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you’ll be: Design Production

  • Produce design assets across digital and print formats, including social media graphics, email visuals, presentations, reports, and marketing collateral.

  • Execute design requests based on established templates and brand guidelines.

  • Support campaign rollouts by adapting creative for multiple formats and channels.

  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality, accessibility, and brand standards.

Event & Program Support

  • Design event-related materials, including signage, programs, presentations, and collateral.

  • Support major events (Soaring, Indspire Awards, and National Gathering) with high-volume production needs.

  • Prepare files for print and coordinate with vendors as required.

Brand Consistency & Asset Management

  • Maintain consistency across all visual outputs in alignment with brand guidelines.

  • Organize and manage design files, templates, and shared asset libraries.

  • Support updates to templates and internal design tools.

Team Support & Workflow Execution

  • Respond to incoming design requests through established workflows.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to clarify requirements and timelines.
  • Support the Brand & Campaign Designer and Manager with execution tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a graphic design or production role.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating execution across digital and print formats.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Experience working with templates and brand guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Basic understanding of digital platforms (social, email, web) and design requirements.
  • Registered Graphic Designer (RGD) Certification is an asset.
  • Experience supporting events or high-volume production environments is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Indigenous communities and cultural representation is an asset.
