Who you are
- Extensive years of progressive experience, preferably at high-growth SaaS companies with modern tech stacks
- Deep experience building cross-platform automations using tools such as Zapier, Workato, n8n, etc
- Experience applying LLMs and agentic AI to workflow automation or internal tooling
- Strong knowledge of common scripting languages (eg. Python, Bash, etc.)
- Familiarity with public cloud providers such as AWS or GCP
- Experience with CI/CD (ie. Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and IaC (eg. Terraform)
- Experience designing and building internal tools (eg. code-based or no-code)
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Senior IT Systems Engineer to be part of our Operations team!
- Reporting to the [Manager, IT Engineering], as the Senior IT Systems Engineer you recognize the advantage of building automations to solve problems and repetitive tasks
- You’ll be configuring integrations and deploying automated systems between our internal IT and security tooling
- Sometimes we can’t always find a solution that fits, that’s where you come in to build one with the team
- You’ll work across the company with stakeholders to design and implement automations and integrations to power their daily operations
- Think outside the traditional legacy IT ways of doing things, designing everything to scale
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to identify gaps in their workflows to reduce operational tasks
- Lead automation deployments, and build out solutions using a variety of tools and methods
- Assist in researching and deploying new tools or platforms
- Help with escalated tickets from our team
