Job Description
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Shipper / Warehouse Coordinator .
We are a busy, fast-paced warehouse operation looking for a proactive, organized, and resourceful Shipper to join our team. If you thrive in a dynamic environment, can multitask effortlessly, and enjoy problem-solving, this role is perfect for you.
Hours: Ideally 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (flexible hours may be required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate outgoing shipments efficiently and accurately.
- Contact and liaise with trucking companies to arrange pickups and deliveries.
- Manage shipping documentation and update systems in a timely manner.
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Think creatively to solve shipping/logistics challenges as they arise.
- Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed, supporting team members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Exceptional multitasking and time-management abilities.
- Experience in a warehouse or shipping environment is essential.
- Ability to work independently and proactively find solutions.
- Forklift certification is an asset
- Ability to lift weight up to 50 lbs.
- Capability to work as a team player
- Good Math skills
- Good communication skills in English
- Able to work with minimal supervision
