Working directly with the StandardAero team and their vendors, the Logistics Administrator role will support the moving of engines and other items across various business units, this position provides an excellent opportunity for professional development and growth within the company. The job description provides further details on the responsibilities of the position, and the skills that will be developed.

What You'll Do

  • Timesheet Maintenance
  • Acquire Task Control Number/Shop Order number from the business units for any overtime
  • Keep track of overtime call in mileage and send sending for approval and payment processing
  • Looks after pre shift forklift inspections
  • Coordinate with all Business Units for Daily activities (shipping, receiving,)
  • Coordinate and schedules forklift preventive maintenance with the supplier (Toromont). Also schedules other service for forklift from other suppliers, ordering new tires, charging of accumulators
  • Notifies Business Unit of when forklifts will be down for repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Orders and maintains supplies for the engine handling area
  • Fill out CF34/CFM arrival check in sheets for all incoming engines
  • Fills out the Business Unit’s engine container condition report for all incoming engines for the engine handlers to complete
  • Catalogue the Business Units report sheets in binder by product lines and models once finished by engine handlers
  • Keep the Business Unit’s container tracking up to date on Excel
  • Retrieve the Business Units engine container report sheets to match container from the compound when engines are ready to be packed and shipped
  • Keep engine container organized by Business Unit or by engine models
  • Coordinate any overtime with Business Unit for any after hours or weekend jobs
  • Monitors cameras in shipping areas to look for products that need to be moved or items lift outside after hours

What Skills You Will Use

  • Five – Seven (5-7) years of direct experience operating large outdoor forklifts while ensuring efficiency and safety.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
  • Forklift license and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certificate or willing to train, preferred.
  • Very good physical condition and able to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme outdoor conditions for an extended period of time.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be able and willing to work after hours and weekends.
