West Red Lake Gold Mines Ltd. is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Junior Resource Geologist. This role provides the opportunity to contribute to resource evaluation, geological modelling, and optimisation of mineral assets in accordance with recognised industry standards (NI-43_101).
Qualifications BSc in Geology, Mining Engineering, or related field (mandatory) MSc in Geology (preferred and advantageous)
Experience Requirements Minimum 2 years in Resource Geology, OR Minimum 5 years in production geology preferred Underground experience is an advantage
Technical Competencies Leapfrog Edge, Deswik, Datamine Understanding of geostatistical and classical statistical methods Understanding of resource estimation methods Knowledge of QA/QC protocols in mining and exploration
Key Responsibilities Uphold Safety, Environmental, and Health (SEH) standards, ensuring compliance with site policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices Geological modelling and resource estimation support Data validation and database management Resource reporting and reconciliation Support mine planning and operations Ensure compliance with NI 43-101 reporting standards Other duties as assigned by Lead Resource Geologist / Chief Geologist
