As the**Senior Manager, Tax Compliance,**you will be responsible for the management of multi-national tax compliance and reporting including multi-national tax provision financial reporting, direct and indirect taxation, and the mitigation of global tax risks in support of corporate strategies.

What you'll do:

• Manage preparation, filing, and reporting of direct and indirect taxes and multinational tax disclosures to ensure compliance

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize tax positions and integrate tax considerations into business decisions

• Implement enhancements to tax technology

• Conduct tax research and maintain thorough documentation of tax issues and compliance positions

• Mentor existing tax team, manage communications with stakeholders

• Handle day to day tax inquiries, disputes, and audits

What you have:

• Minimum 7 years' experience with at least 5 years exposure to International Taxation is required.

• CPA designation, with completion of In-Depth Income Tax courses (or Masters degree in Taxation).

• Experience in a role with substantial Canadian and US Tax exposure and proficiency in tax provision and tax compliance working paper modelling

• Extensive knowledge of global tax issues pertaining to large multinational companies and IFRS tax accounting standards
