CAE, the worldwide leader in aviation training is seeking a Maintenance Training Instructor to join our Business Aviation Maintenance Training Team. If you are a Mechanic or Avionics Technician with experience servicing either the Challenger 300/350, Challenger 604/605/650, Global Express, XRS, 6000, or the Global 7500 aircraft and are ready to take your career to a new level by becoming an Instructor, this role could be for you!
The Maintenance Training Instructor works as part of a team dedicated to providing aircraft maintenance training on products manufactured by Bombardier Aerospace. Use extensive aviation maintenance experience, technical training experience, and varied computer skills (text & graphics), to develop, deliver, and maintain multi-media and computer-assisted courseware packages. This position is customer-facing and is focused on identifying and supporting customers’ needs and requests. Provides training to the customers at varied locations and manages and resolves a broad range of issues in an autonomous manner. Delivers aircraft system training in areas of expertise using a variety of instructional training aids in the classroom environment including the use of multimedia presentations (videos, slides, Power Point), aircraft components and aircraft simulators.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience working on either the Challenger 300/350, Challenger 604/605/650, Global Express, XRS, 6000, or the Global 7500 aircraft is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace or equivalent work experience is required.
- Working knowledge of mechanical or avionics aircraft systems related to area of responsibility.
- Ability to resolve customer instructional issues autonomously.
- Working knowledge in a variety of basic computer software programs, (Windows 2000 Suite, PowerPoint, MS Word,) to develop, revise and deliver training material and presentations.
- Must be authorized to live and work in Canada.
- Able to travel globally for up to 50% of the time.
ADDITIONAL DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A current aviation authority industry license (TC, EASA, UK, etc.) is preferred.
- Prior instructional experience is an asset but not required.
