Sandvik is seeking a Production Manager Location: Winnipeg, MB Sandvik is a global leader in underground mining equipment manufacturing. Our Winnipeg ITH (In-the-Hole) Center of Excellence serves as the global hub for the design, manufacturing, and lifecycle support of our underground ITH drills and support units. We are currently seeking a Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations at our Winnipeg facility. This role is accountable for delivering safe, high-quality production while meeting operational targets for efficiency, cost, and on-time delivery. Key Responsibilities Production Planning & Execution Develop and execute production plans to meet customer demand and delivery commitments Monitor inventory and collaborate closely with procurement to ensure material availability Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing production team Set clear performance expectations and drive accountability through structured objectives (OKRs/KPIs) Operational Excellence & Quality Continuously improve production processes to optimize efficiency and throughput Ensure adherence to quality standards and drive a culture of operational excellence Cost Management & Continuous Improvement Manage production budgets and identify cost reduction opportunities Lead continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste and improve overall performance Health, Safety & Sustainability Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety standards Lead by example—safety is non-negotiable What You Bring Proven leadership experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly environments Strong people leadership, coaching, and performance management skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Commitment to fostering a safe and high-performance work environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Mechanical aptitude; familiarity with Sandvik equipment is an asset What We Offer Competitive total rewards package including pension matching and comprehensive benefits A critical leadership role with direct impact on operational and business performance Opportunity to lead, shape, and improve a key production function within a global organization A high-performance environment focused on results, accountability, and growth Ongoing development, training, and career progression opportunities Our Culture Our core values are the soul of the company.
