Summary We are currently recruiting a Service Advisor for our Whitecourt Regional Office for a temporary work term of 6 months . This position will be focused on our valve service and repair business. The selected candidate will be tasked with supporting a variety of customers in our territory with day-to-day and shutdown work at the depot and mobile unit. This includes scheduling, quoting, invoicing and general coordination. The successful candidate will report to the Regional Service Manager in Whitecourt.
Role And Responsibilities
- Handling service request calls from customers
- Advising customers on proper requirements for servicing products
- Assisting customers with determining service levels and scope of work
- Interfacing regularly with the Spartan Pressure Management production and service shop
- Interface with Sales group for customer support
- Quoting, entering and fulfilling orders for customers on services provided
- Placing orders with our factory and vendors
- Basic, long delivery, expediting
- Data entry and tracking
- Repair status updates and reports
- Booking mobile service work
- Reviewing field service requirements (travel, safety, accommodation)
- Assisting with shipping and receiving duties
- Extra work hours typically required during Spring & Fall shutdown seasons
Qualifications And Skills
- SAP experience would be considered an asset
- Post-Secondary education would be an asset, especially relating to instrumentation or mechanics
- Previous valve service and related experience would be considered an asset
- Proven customer service skills
- Good decision making and multitasking skills
- Highly organized and attention-to-detail are a must
- Team oriented, but ability to work independently
- Comprehensive computer skills
