Unified Valve Group is looking for a detailed oriented, hardworking Inside Sales Representative based in Edmonton or Calgary, who thrives in a technical role that requires a high level of attention to detail and self-motivation. Reporting into the Branch Manager, this role is for you if you thrive on making connections, increasing customer satisfaction, balancing competing priorities effectively and being part of a cooperative, collaborative team.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years inside sales experience supporting Alberta clients required
• Strong technical knowledge required
• CET certification an asset
• Pressure Safety Valve (PSV) quoting experience required, Valve and Actuation quoting experience an asset
• Exceptional communicator and customer service oriented with good interpersonal skills and ability to adjust to various personality types
• Proven attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively
• Must have proven ability taking ownership of tasks
• Must be a team player who is willing to wear many hats and help where needed
• Strong Microsoft Office skills required, experience with Great Plains would be an asset

Responsibilities:

• Answer inbound sales calls providing excellent customer service
• Prepare and follow up on technical quotations, order entry and expediting
• Maintain high level of product and service knowledge for effective customer service as well as being able to make informed suggestions and recommendations
• Maintain open communication with the sales team
• Liaise with the Service group and Shipping & Receiving for status request
• Upsell and promote new products to current customers
• Maintain, expand and develop customer bases
• Maintain and expand prospect database
• Regular reporting of sales activities
