Sea Cove Medical Clinic is looking for a dedicated and collegial family physician to take over a well-loved, currently shared practice due to an upcoming retirement. Currently, the practice is shared with an established colleague, with a combination of full-time (3 days per week), part‑time (1.5 days per week) and time off. There is a potential to continue this arrangement or continue with a single practice.
Sea Cove Medical Clinic is home to a vibrant team of eight supportive family physicians and a fantastic group of administrative and clinical staff who contribute to a warm, collaborative work environment. While working in the clinic, each physician has access to two exam rooms and private office space. As a Primary Care Network (PCN) clinic, we are fortunate to have on‑site access to mental health support, a pharmacist, a social worker, and a dietitian, enhancing the quality of care for patients and the experience for our providers. Our clinic is located in downtown Comox, where the workspace is as beautiful as it is functional. Overlooking the marina, mountains, and glacier, the view alone is a daily reminder of the unique lifestyle our community offers. This is a rare opportunity for a physician and a physician seeking meaningful work in a supportive setting.
Benefits
May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including:
- Recruitment Incentive - $10,000 (If working full‑time)
- Fee Premium - 6.93%
- Annual Flat Fee - $10,739.52
- Relocation Costs Reimbursement: up to a maximum of $15,000 (amount based on funding availability and on location relocating from)
- Rural CME starting at $2,200/annum in years 3 & 4 in the community, increasing to a maximum of $4,400/annum after 4 years
