The Opportunity
RVS invites applications for a continuing, part-time (17.5 hrs/week) Learning Coordinator position at Springbank Community High School starting August 27, 2026. The successful candidate will work in the WeConnect room to support and facilitate the delivery of online learning courses to high school students through ensuring effective program administration, supervision and technical support.

Responsibilities Include
Supervises the online learning classroom to ensure school and classroom policies and procedures
are adhered to
Works with students to develop learning schedules for their online courses and may assist students
with registration
Schedules and supervises assessments, and provides assistance to students as required Provides support to students by sharing knowledge of courses offered from Summit Trails Online
High School and coordinating required resources or technology
In consultation with school personnel and online teacher(s) provides students with necessary IPP
accommodations
Observes students for any signs of learning challenges and communicates these to school personnel and online teacher(s) Provides internet and computer hardware/software instruction and supports students accessing
the learning platform
Conducts internet and computer orientations for online students and parents and is the “first point
of contact” for questions about the online service
Observes students’ use of school technology and/or network Coordinates with online teacher(s) to schedule learning sessions and tutorials Ensures students who are taking diploma level online courses are registered for their diploma
exam
Contributes to the achievement of the student’s educational goals and objectives by working to
create a positive, safe, and optimal learning environment
Responds in a timely and effective manner to issues involving the online learning program Ensures timely preparation and submission of all required documentation
Education/Experience
Post-secondary diploma or certificate relating to education Two or more years relevant experience considered an asset Previous experience within a school division and/or with Student Information Records Systems is considered an asset
Pre-employment Requirements
The successful candidate must submit a current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of the start of your employment Proof of qualifications/education as required by the position including WES/IQAS evaluation documents for completed education outside of Canada Applicants must provide a professional letter of reference, attached to the job application, from their most recent supervisor, relevant to the job opportunity, written on company letterhead, signed and dated within the past 18 months; or a list of updated references of a current/recent supervisor on your application.
