Job Title Electronics Assembler
Reporting To Supervisor, Production
Work Schedule Onsite – Halifax, NS

Our Team We are a great team of experienced and dedicated electronic production assemblers and testers who build and test a wide variety of electronic products.

In This Role, You Will
- Assemble, modify, rework and repair electro-optical and system assemblies in adherence to ISO quality system and IPC standards
- Assemble fiber optics, including fiber termination and polishing
- Prepare wire, crimp and solder terminations as required.
- Work following approved documentation, including wiring and assembly drawings.
- Work using various tools, including soldering irons, microscopes, and crimpers.
- Program various electronic components on circuit boards
- Complete and maintain assembly documentation
- Package company products as required
- Be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

What You Bring
- An Electronics Technician with a minimum of 3 years of experience or relevant training
- Experience in mechanical and electronics principles and procedures
- Experience with PCBA assembly
- The ability to read electronic, mechanical and electrical drawings
- High reliability and lead-free soldering with IPC knowledge and experience
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working within an ISO or other quality system
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
