Regional Manager, Engineering - Western Canada (Calgary, Alberta)
Pario Engineering & Environmental Sciences is seeking a Regional Manager, Engineering who is dynamic, motivated, and passionate about their career to support our expansion in Western Canada.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the performance of our forensic business lines, which include civil/structural assessments (structures, building envelope, building code compliance, etc.), fire and explosion investigations, collision reconstruction/biomechanical investigations, and materials/mechanical investigations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs is a must. Good presentation skills are an asset. Must be able to communicate effectively with clients and other stakeholders.

Role Responsibilities:
- Responsible for P&L of Western Canada Engineering activities for all engineering services lines
- Perform some measure of forensic engineering duties, including but not limited to, peer review, legal expert reports, scene examinations of complex files
- Assist with business development and growth of our Western Canada market
- Identification and recruitment of top industry talent in Western Canada
- Committed to client satisfaction through open communication with all parties
- Able to identify process improvement opportunities and implement changes to processes
- Monitor and address deficiencies in KPIs to ensure personnel are meeting or exceeding our SLAs
Role Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience, with progressive management experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferable; Professional Engineering License an asset
- Experience in forensic investigations an asset
- Experience within the insurance and legal industry is a must
- A demonstrated track record of taking projects to successful completion
- Proficient in standard Microsoft Office (MS Word, Outlook & Excel)
- Expert knowledge and understanding of area of expertise
- Positive, self-driven, motivated, personal attitude
- A willingness and passion to support the marketing and sales department through attendance at presentations and industry events
- Customer facing experience: Ability to discuss projects budgets with clients and maintain continuous communications throughout the project
- The ability to climb, work at heights, and work in all temperatures is required
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
