Rosno Management and Leasing Limited is a local residential and commercial property management company located in HRM. We are currently searching for a Property Coordinator to join our team.
Position Summary:
The Property Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the residential and commercial property portfolio. Working under the direction of the property management team, this role is responsible for tenant relations, lease administration, general communication and maintenance coordination. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to build a career in property management.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a primary point of contact for tenant inquiries, concerns, and requests
Conduct inspections, and prepare condition reports
Facilitate lease renewals and assist with tenant onboarding
Coordinate and track maintenance requests from submission through to completion (in Yardi)
Organize with vendors, contractors, and maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs
Create and maintain organized tenant files, lease documents, and correspondence in yardi
Prepare and distribute notices, memos, and other communications to tenants
Assist with marketing vacant units including listings, showings, and applications
Proficient in creating and posting social media marketing material
Assist with picking up supplies
Qualifications:
Required
1–2 years of experience in property management related work or customer service
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Proficient with social media platforms
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites as required
Preferred
Experience with property management software (Yardi, AppFolio, or similar)
Familiarity with Nova Scotia tenancy act
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
This position requires both office-based work and regular on-site property visits. This role may involve walking property grounds, climbing stairs; and occasionally lifting or moving small appliances.
Clear driver’s abstract required
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience
