Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots. Tasks: Disinfect pens, barns or poultry houses. Handling animals. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Perform animal grooming activities . Prepare cattle for exhibition. Supervise milking operations to ensure work is done correctly . Feed and tend animals. Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Maintain financial and production records. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Maintain quality control and production records. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens.
