Mississauga, ON (Hybrid - 2 days in office, 3 remote)

Annual bonus

We are looking for a Senior SAP HR Compensation OM/PA & Vendor Coordinator to join our Global Digital Services - Digital Hub Toronto team in Mississauga, ON.

Come create chemistry with us!

At BASF Digital Hub Toronto we develop innovative digital solutions for BASF, create exciting new customer experiences and business growth, and drive efficiencies in processes, helping to strengthen BASF´s position as the digital leader in the chemical industry. We believe the right path is through creativity, trial and error and great people working and learning together. Become part of our team and develop the future with us - in a global team that embraces diversity and equal opportunities.

As a Senior SAP HR Compensation OM/PA & Vendor Coordinator, you will own the configuration, integrity, and evolution of our SAP HR R/3 landscape across North America with a focus on Organizational Management, Personnel Administration, and Compensation. You will orchestrate benefits‑provider integrations and robust data interfaces while partnering with HR Business Partners and external vendors to ensure compliance, auditability, and operational excellence.

As a Senior SAP HR Compensation OM/PA & Vendor Coordinator, you create chemistry by...

  • Configuring and maintaining SAP HR R/3 (OM, PA, Compensation), refining schemas and customizing infotypes/relationships, and governing organizational objects and personnel actions to keep structures and master data accurate, consistent, and ready for downstream processing.
  • Collaborating with HR Business Partners to elicit and validate functional requirements, translating them into clear technical specifications and solution designs, and aligning deliverables with payroll and other integrated systems for seamless end‑to‑end processing.
  • Implementing and integrating benefits providers by leading vendor onboarding, defining and testing inbound/outbound interface specifications, validating data exchanges with HR/payroll, and managing vendor relationships and SLAs to secure timely services and accurate, compliant integrations.
  • Auditing and ensuring compliance by conducting regular OM/PA data audits across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, reconciling discrepancies and master‑data defects, enforcing internal data‑governance policies and external regulatory requirements, and preparing defensible evidence for internal/external audits.
  • Troubleshooting and optimizing daily operations by diagnosing and resolving issues in HR data, workflows, and interfaces, documenting configurations, interface specs, and business processes, and supporting HR initiatives with targeted data analysis, reporting, and prioritized system enhancements.
  • Advancing and safeguarding the platform lifecycle by participating in SAP upgrades and new feature enablement, leading regression and UAT test cycles with clear defect triage, and stewarding change control and release documentation to protect data integrity and system performance.

If you have...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP HR R/3 configuration, with a strong focus on OM, PA, and Compensation, as well as proven experience implementing and integrating HR benefit providers, including interface design and functional requirement gathering.
  • Strong understanding of HR data auditing and validation processes for US, Canada, and Mexico. Familiarity with North American labor laws and benefits compliance requirements will be a plus.
  • Experience with writing LSMW/DTT and mass data updates. Experience with SuccessFactors or other cloud-based HR platforms, and proficiency SAP reporting tools (e.g., Ad Hoc Query, SE16, SAP Query) will be a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with HR stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience coordinating with third-party vendors and managing data interfaces.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Project management experience in HRIS implementations or system upgrades will be a plus.
