Job Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations of the facility and ensuring that products are received and shipped for customers within reasonable timelines. This role provides leadership and direction to a small team of 3–5 warehouse employees, ensuring operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, workplace safety. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Duties and Responsibilities Oversee daily warehousing activities to ensure processes and procedures are understood and followed; prioritize and delegate workflow to ensure all customer orders are shipped accurately and on time. Manage inventory control activities, including cycle counts and inventory reconciliations to maintain inventory accuracy. Assist with receiving, picking, packing, and shipping activities as required to support operational needs. Train and onboard new employees on warehouse procedures, systems, and safety requirements. Enforce company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards. Monitor warehouse workflow to ensure all orders are processed, tagged, and shipped accurately with no orders missed. Print invoices and process customer credit card payments through Moneris. Report and coordinate resolution of technical issues with the IT department. Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels of shipping and warehouse supplies. Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, coaching, employee development, problem-solving, and performance management in accordance with company policies and procedures. Open and secure the facility at the beginning and end of each workday. Supervise, coach, and support a team of 3–5 warehouse employees, including assigning work, monitoring performance, and providing training and development opportunities. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience and Education: 3-5 years general warehouse experience 3-5 years Shipping experience 3-5 years management or supervisory experience Experience with ERP systems Experience using RF scanners Highschool Diploma or GED Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Time management Quality control testing Attention to Detail Verbal and written communication skills in English Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Collaboration Active learning Customer service orientation Adaptability Stress Tolerance Managing others – motivating, developing and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job Active listening and communicating effectively in writing– Assertive communication Analytical and Critical thinking – using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
