POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Treasury and Planning Analyst plays a key role within the Corporate Finance team, supporting day-to-day treasury operations, global liquidity reporting, and internal cash forecasting. This role will assist in the preparation of key financial deliverables to management, ensure timely and accurate reporting of global cash activity, and support compliance with debt and covenant obligations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to develop within a fast-paced, multinational corporate treasury environment.
In addition to treasury responsibilities, this role offers exposure to corporate FP&A and financial reporting functions, process improvement initiatives, and the opportunity to contribute to the year-end audit process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Treasury Management:
- Support global treasury operations, including daily cash positioning, tracking intercompany funding activities, and assisting with foreign exchange transaction processing.
- Support ongoing banking relationship management by coordinating account documentation, assisting with account setup and maintenance, and acting as a liaison between internal departments and banking partners.
- Assist in monitoring and reporting global liquidity and cash flow positions by preparing dashboards and variance analysis to support optimal capital allocation decisions.
- Help develop and update the 13-week cash flow forecast by gathering inputs from various departments, identifying key cash flow drivers, and supporting analysis and reporting.
- Provide support in tracking financial covenant compliance and assist with preparing lender reporting packages, including borrowing base certificates.
- Assist in the annual insurance renewal process by gathering required data, completing questionnaires, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and supporting communication with insurance brokers.
- Contribute to the preparation of presentations and materials for lenders, rating agencies, and other external stakeholders through data compilation, analysis, and formatting.
Business Planning & Financial Analysis:
- Assist in the global budgeting and forecasting process by helping gather inputs from business units, consolidating data, and ensuring alignment with corporate timelines and strategic goals.
- Prepare financial models and analysis to support recommendations for senior leadership, including variance analysis and key business insights.
- Track and report on key operational and financial KPIs, identifying trends and supporting performance improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to long-term strategic planning by supporting scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to assess potential opportunities and risks.
Process Improvement and People Development:
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Support team development initiatives by assisting with onboarding, training documentation, and coordination of team meetings and process improvement activities to promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Leverage technology and automation to drive improvements in treasury and financial planning functions.
Strategic Initiatives:
- Assist in tracking key global strategic initiatives and capital projects by compiling status updates, maintaining tracking tools, and supporting analysis and reporting for leadership.
- Support corporate development activities, including M&A and post-acquisition integration.
- Assist with financial analysis and data preparation to support debt refinancing efforts and other capital structure evaluations, including gathering inputs, running models, and preparing supporting materials.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Progress toward or interest in CPA, CFA, CTP, or MBA is a plus.
Experience:
- 2+ years of relevant experience in treasury, finance, or accounting. preferably in a mid to large private or public company.
- Exposure to corporate treasury functions and financial planning processes preferred.
- Experience supporting banking relationships, including coordinating documentation, assisting with account management, and facilitating communication between internal teams and banking partners.
- Experience in managing complex financial structures and multi-currency environments.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial businesses is an asset.

- Occasional travel may be required.

POSITION SUMMARY
