POSITION SUMMARY:
Under direction from the Supervisor/Designate, this position
is responsible for accurately processing salary and deductions to produce a pay
record using a computerized human resources system, following strict bi-weekly,
monthly and annual deadlines. Maintaining confidentiality is a requirement of
this position. This description is a summary of the typical functions of the

possible job responsibilities, tasks, and duties.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:

Secondary
School Diploma

Two
(2) years relevant payroll experience
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/OTHER:

Proficient
in the use of Board provided computer-based technologies to create,
manipulate, store and retrieve information, and communicate with others

Demonstrated
accurate keyboarding including number pad

**Police Record Check:**This role will
require a Satisfactory Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check or
Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check dated with six (6) months of hire date and
to be provided to Human Resources. The successful candidate will be responsible
for any cost associated with obtaining. The Police Record Check will be
required to be renewed every 5 years.
