Overview This is a full-time Sheet Metal Fabricator position based in Orillia, 44 hours per week working Monday-Thursday, 7am-4:30pm, and Friday, 7am-3:30pm, with the possibility for voluntary overtime. This role provides Group benefits after a 3 month probationary period, and Boot Allowance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricating aluminum parts from sheet stock using drawings and specifications
  • Performing sign fabrication (Illuminated signs, pylons, fascia signs, letters and radius covers)
  • Use the required equipment and tools to form boxes and fabricate custom shapes. (shears, brake press, rollers)
  • Measure, cut and bend various types of sheet metal into appropriate sizes and shapes
  • Read technical drawings, analyze blueprints and operate computerized fabricating equipment such as shears, saws and presses
  • Drill, anchor and install sheet metal parts according to product specifications
  • Follow safety regulations and the ability to maintain a good work ethic and attitude.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience Required

  • Experience in aluminum fabrication.
  • Experienced in sign fabrication (Illuminated signs, pylons, fascia signs, letters and radius covers) is a major asset
  • Experience in the following areas: press fit joints, fabricate, assemble, read blueprints and drawings, machine shop maintenance and operations, (welding & press brake), extrusion systems

Pattison ID also provides a Boot Allowance.
