Job Summary This role is responsible for developing and executing category sourcing strategies to ensure the lowest total cost of ownership for goods and services while maintaining excellent quality and supply service levels. Responsible for the management of procurement responses to commercialization process (IMB) for new product development (NPD), and alignment to guardrails process (core & premium) along with DTV project process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business partners to develop category strategies that meet the needs of the business units re: cost, innovation, sustainability, quality, service and safety
  • Development and execution of a category strategy highlighting pipe-line of savings initiatives, sourcing, design to value or market driven
  • Lead all aspects of supplier lifecycle management for selected categories, including identification, onboarding, contract management, performance management, risk management and offboarding

  • Inventory management in collaboration with material planning, lead projects to manage inventory to annual plan
  • Lead applicable supplier forecast process, set up and pricing of new items/suppliers
  • Management of monthly reporting summaries PPV & rationale

  • Responsible for managing the consolidated procurement response for new products (NPD), line extensions, product changes and deletions
  • Lead procurement packaging responses via defined IMB process, ensuring clear communication, alignment and accountability

  • Lead procurement Core/Premium Guardrails process, escalations and required alignments/approvals
  • Lead DTV process alignment, assisting with coordination of product refurbishments/write offs to minimize packaging write offs.

Qualifications

  • College Diploma (Supply Chain/Procurement)
  • 5-10 years procurement experience at CPG or related industry
  • 3-5 Years experience in project coordination, or product commercialization within CPG or related industry
  • JDE or other ERP system experience - relating to supplier set ups, pricing files, MRP, PO approvals
  • Project management certification or experience: PMP certificate /or MS Project/ Monday.com (bonus)
  • Process oriented, demonstrated ability to manage process and escalate if off track
  • Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills (building relationship)
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Strong Excel skills, data analysis pivots, presenting data summary and making recommendations

Preferred

  • University Designation (Business, Economics and/or Supply Chain)
  • 10+ years strategic sourcing / category management experience
  • CSCMP or equivalent designation

Compensation : Budgeted Range – $101,355.00 - $131,165.00 The budgeted range takes into account several factors and qualifications that are considered in making compensation decisions including experience, education, training, licenses, certifications, and other business and organizational requirements. Base pay is only one component of the total rewards offering at Arterra.
