Job Description
We're looking for a strategic content thinker who understands that great content isn't built asset-by-asset, it's architected as journeys. The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, developing, and optimizing content that supports campaign priorities, audience needs, and business goals. This role translates overarching messaging and content strategy into campaign-level content plans and high-quality deliverables that support modern buyer journeys across channels and discovery experiences.
You will work across Campaigns, Demand Generation, Product Marketing and Regional teams to ensure every piece of content serves a strategic purpose within a larger narrative arc, whether it's educating, converting or retaining. Your thinking will influence everything from editorial strategy to shape how content performs in an AI-first discovery landscape. You’ll develop content that balances discoverability with authentic storytelling, ensuring content performs across search, AI-assisted discovery and human-led buyer journeys.
Content Planning & Execution Develop campaign-level content aligned to broader GTM and content strategy Translate complex product, industry and customer concepts into clear, actionable, full-funnel connected content journeys that support awareness, engagement, and conversion Apply SEO, AEO, GEO, zero-click content principles and AI-assisted discovery behaviors directly in content structure, messaging, metadata, and editorial planning Content Development & Creation Write, edit, and optimize content (blog posts, guides, landing pages, email series, case studies, etc.) that executes narrative strategy and is built for discovery Own the editorial quality and narrative consistency across all content you develop, editing and refining for tone, clarity and impact Manage content production workflows from ideation through publishing, including CMS management, metadata optimization, and content updates Ensure content is structured, purposeful and aligned to campaign objectives and intended business outcomes Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Campaigns, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Regional teams Align on campaign priorities, content needs, timelines, and deliverables Incorporate stakeholder feedback while maintaining messaging clarity, narrative structure and editorial quality Collaborate with designers, SMEs, and external partners to produce polished, publication-ready content Workflow & Prioritization Support Support and help operationalize intake, prioritization, and planning workflows within systems such as Asana and Bynder Execute against established briefs, timelines, and priorities while proactively identifying risks, gaps, or unclear direction Contribute to scalable content operations, governance, and content reuse initiatives Content Optimization & Impact Monitor content performance to understand what content is driving discovery, engagement and conversion, using data to inform strategy iteratively Identify opportunities for optimization, repurposing and operational efficiency Contribute ideas that strengthen content quality, discoverability and business impact over time
Qualifications
2-3+ years of experience in content marketing, content strategy, or demand generation content roles, preferably within B2B SaaS or enterprise technology Exceptional writing, editing and editorial judgment with the ability to develop polished, publication-ready content independently Strong understanding of modern search and discovery behaviors, including SEO, AEO, GEO and zero-click content strategies Ability to translate complex technical or product concepts into clear, engaging and strategically aligned messaging Familiarity with content management, metadata optimization and editorial operations best practices Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Asana, Bynder or similar platforms Highly organized, proactive and comfortable operating autonomously while managing multiple priorities Strong collaborator with the ability to build trust across Campaigns, Product Marketing, Demand Generation and Regional teams
