We are hiring a Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist with 10+ years of experience developing test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases, plus strong expertise in automated testing (Selenium), version control, and defect management tools (Confluence, JIRA, TestRail). The role requires experience across multiple testing types (unit, functional, UAT, production acceptance, integration, performance, regression, load, security, backend, web services), multi-tier/multi-platform solutions, and systems debugging, refactoring, and optimization. This is an onsite role at 5700 Yonge St, Toronto, Ontario, with an estimated start of September 1, 2026, end date of August 31, 2027 (248 business days), and a probable extension. No clearance is required.

Key Responsibilities & Description
Participate and collaborate with Business Analysts in
Business requirements walkthrough Use cases walkthrough Develop and document a comprehensive testing plan covering all types of testing for quality assurance. Develop and document comprehensive testing cases covering all types of testing, aligned with approved business requirements/use cases. Develop and execute testing checklists, ensuring they are completed as required through various testing stages and incorporated into the production readiness checklist. Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise. Perform end-to-end system functional testing based on documented test cases.
Perform regression testing to ensure that
Existing functionalities work as expected New functionalities work as expected Perform performance testing to ensure: System integrity Responsiveness Collaborate with the IT corporate team to perform vulnerability testing, as required. Document all identified defects and re-test resolved defects.
Collaborate with the project manager on
Project planning Change management Release/implementation management activities Contribute required QA artefacts to the architecture checkpoints activities.
Collaborate with business SMEs to perform/complete
User acceptance testing (UAT) Production acceptance testing Experience & Skill Set Requirements (Evaluation Criteria)
