Inventory and Quality Control Coordinator - Brampton, ON
About the role
Mission of the Role (What you’ll be doing):
The Quality / Inventory Coordinator ensures that quality standards and procedures are met and aligned with legislation and customer specifications. This individual is responsible for managing the organizations quality assurance policies. Identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of company operations.
Key Duties & Accountabilities (Primary responsibilities):
- Conduct daily cycle count and ensure system records match physical stock.
- Investigate inventory / quality discrepancies submitted by internal depts.
- Provide root cause for inventory / quality inaccuracies.
- Inspect new incoming sku’s for quality purposes.
- Work with Purchasing department on changing internal part numbers.
- Communicate quality issues to the vendors.
- Issue NCR documents as required.
- Perform random quality checks on products.
- Provide customers with quality related documents as required.
- Work on audits as assigned.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications (What you’ll need to be successful):
- Must have 1-3 years of experience in an inventory control management.
- University degree or diploma business or related discipline preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Able to work with minimum supervision.
- Able to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Excellent time and project management skills.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- Good administration and strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline driven environment.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point, MS TEAMS
Working Conditions:
- Ability to physically lift, push or pull up to 30 lbs
- Ability to attend and conduct presentations.
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
- Overtime as required.
