Job Description Oracle Canadian Public Sector is looking for a highly experienced SaaS presales Solution Consultant (SC) to apply your knowledge of Financials across Provincial, Municipal, and Higher Education customers. We would love to talk to you about a dynamic, flexible position where you can use your knowledge to demonstrate how software can optimize and advance organization efficiencies.

As a member of the Sales Consulting Team you would be responsible for formulating and leading presales functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Typical activities include developing and delivering high quality Oracle presentations and demonstrations; presenting and articulating advanced product features, benefits, product future direction, and overall Oracle solutions; close collaboration with the product Development organization; acting as a functional expert for less experienced SCs; and developing trusted advisor relationships with critical stakeholders to expand our base of referenceable customers.

Overview:

  • This is a full time, strategic, presales role working with Financial/Procurement and IT decision makers, as well as the functional end-users evaluating Oracle solutions for their enterprise applications’ needs
  • The right person must be able to effectively communicate and engage with audiences regarding business challenges, mapping them to Oracle’s enterprise applications solutions
  • Extensive software training will be provided as needed

Responsibilities As an Oracle presales Solution Consultant, you will partner directly with the sales team to present and sell Oracle SaaS solutions to our customers. This is not a quota carrying sales role and does not involve any outbound or inbound sales prospecting; however, it does involve the ability to influence decision makers regarding their business applications, and the ability to act as an Oracle advocate during client interactions.

As a solution consultant, you help customers realize the transformative value of AI-powered Oracle Fusion Financials and Procurement. By showcasing how embedded AI automates repetitive tasks, freeing up staff for more strategic work. Highlight how Oracle solutions are helping customers make proactive, data-driven decisions. Ultimately, you empower customers to drive efficiency, reduce risk, and achieve better business outcomes through next-generation financial and procurement solutions.

  • The best presales solution consultants have joined us from a variety of backgrounds: operations practitioners (industry users); systems integrators; pre and post sales consulting; trainers of Oracle’s applications products; business analysts; and users of Oracle’s applications
  • You will have the opportunity to partner with our Public Sector customers to understand and support their mission and solve real world business problems
  • You will advise the team on strategic messaging and competitive differentiators
  • You will craft unifying storyboards for large, cross-functional opportunities
  • Understanding of unique Public Sector, and Higher Education Financial/Procurement requirements is highly desired
  • Ability to build and develop reports, dashboards and KPIs based on complex data structures
  • This is a remote position working from a home office, with travel required for meetings and client presentations
  • Exceptional presentation skills are critical, both in person and with virtual tools such as Zoom
  • Strong preference for candidates with bilingual skills – French/English

Why it’s a great opportunity:

  • You will always be on the cutting edge of next generation applications and technology
  • You will advise new and existing clients on critical enterprise application decisions to transform their business processes
  • Oracle has the most complete SaaS offering versus our market competitors
  • Oracle SaaS is poised for significant growth, it’s an amazing time to join and grow as customers continue to rapidly adopt Oracle SaaS Applications in the Cloud
  • Work life balance
  • Less travel than post sales implementation or management consulting
  • Oracle employees are proud to work for, and represent, such a strong well-known brand
  • Not only is Oracle a great company to work for, but it is financially stable and growing
  • There is no limit in terms of growth both personally and professionally
  • This opportunity comes with a strong compensation package, including base salary and quarterly bonus
  • Oracle’s benefits are unmatched in the industry
