Job Description We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team.
The role of the Cover Supervisor is to provide support for staff and pupils through various lesson covers, therefore, a good understanding of a variety of subjects is required. Applicants must have a good standard of education and be able to engage and motivate pupils. We would be keen to hear from English specialists for this role.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional person to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive and dynamic environment. Applicants must have the ability to inspire pupils, helping them achieve their personal best and encourage a love of learning.
Essential Criteria
- GCSE English and Maths grade 4/C or higher.
- Ability to inspire pupils, helping them to achieve their personal best.
- Be empathetic and be able to recognise the needs of children in a school environment.
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Able to contribute positively to the team.
- Adaptable and flexible working approach.
- Ability to encourage a love of learning in all pupils across the curriculum.
- Ability to engage with pupils positively and effectively.
Desirable Criteria
- Expertise in English is desirable.
