Events Coordinator - Sandbanks Estate Winery - $20/hr
About the role
Job Description General Overview We are looking for an organized multi-tasker to work with our management team, planning and executing elopements and micro-weddings up to 45 guests, bachelorette parties and tour groups. As the Sandbanks Event Coordinator, you will help to create the experience that delivers lasting memories. Ideally the candidate would be a highly personable, responsible, professional with a passion for customer service and wine.
Responsibilities: Included but are not limited to:
Elopements & Events
- Organize and coordinate all suppliers/vendors for events
- Create Contracts, Event Orders (BEO’s), Floor plans for each event.
- Event set-up & takedown.
- Maintain Sandbanks special Events Calendar for elopements, bus groups and bachelorette parties
- Work with Event Manager and boutique Manager to schedule staff for upcoming events.
- Responsible for beginning to end communication with the guests and execution of events.
- Other duties as required by Events Manager and Estate Manager
- Contribute to meeting service and sales targets.
- Be able to serve guests, providing an excellent and seamless experience.
- Anticipate any problems during shifts and be proactive with a solution.
- Schedule administration duties in between experiences and events.
- Attend off-site events if needed.
- Monitor and update communications on wedding wire and TOCK.

- Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs.
- Must work weekends, evenings and holidays.
COMPENSATION : $20.00/hr
