About the Role
We are currently hiring for a full-time, contract Event Server position. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing service stations and executing food and beverage service (plated, buffet, canapés) while maintaining smooth course transitions.
- Delivering warm, professional, and attentive guest service, anticipating needs and resolving concerns promptly.
- Collaborating with team members and leadership to ensure coordinated service, accurately communicating guest requests and dietary needs.
- Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards across service areas, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.

What Makes You a Great Fit
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Previous serving or banquet experience (preferred); training will be provided.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a guest-focused attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and grace.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Smart Serve certification (or ability to obtain).

- Wage: $17.60 per hour + Gratuities
- Schedule: Contract Position (May 8th, 2026-October 1st, 2026); Days, Evenings, Weekends and Holidays required
- Start Date: May 8th, 2026

About Langdon Hall Country House Hotel & Spa
Langdon Hall is an elegant and comfortable retreat offering that home away from home atmosphere. As a member of the prestigious Relais & Chateaux association, the property prides itself on creating a unique experience brimming with all the charm, character, cuisine, calm and courtesy you would find at the finest Relais & Chateaux property. Located one hour west of Toronto, Langdon Hall was built as a magnificent summer home in 1898 for the granddaughter of John Jacob Astor of New York City, a gentlemen who made his fortune in several areas of business including the Waldorf Astoria, the greatest hotel of its era. In 1987 Langdon Hall began its transformation into a hotel and now offers 60 guest suites, a full service spa, and the only Five-Diamond award winning restaurant in Ontario. In addition to the main dining room the property features a casual bar and private dining rooms with wood-burning fireplaces, and 75 acres of expansive gardens and trails. Nearby amenities include championship style golf course, canoeing, theatre, horseback riding, biking and hiking.
