A career as a Senior Credit Analyst in the team of Maxium Financia l, at National Bank is to act as a credit specialist. This job allows you to have a positive impact on our organization through your expertise in financial analysis, credit structuring, and risk management in a commercial lending environment.

Your Job

• Analyze financial statements and cash flow projections to assess clients’ creditworthiness and risk levels

• Structure and prepare credit submissions and recommendations that align with internal policies and risk appetite

• Ensure adherence to credit standards, security requirements, and regulatory guidelines in all lending activities

• Collaborate with partners in sales, operations, and risk to support lending decisions and client strategies

• Identify opportunities to optimize processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

• Participate in the annual review process and ensure proactive portfolio monitoring to maintain credit quality

Your team

Within Maxium Financial, you’ll be part of theCommercial Lending sector and report to the Senior Manager. The team is known for its innovative approach to niche financing and strong client relationships.

Prerequisites

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field and 3 to 6 years of experience in commercial and corporate banking or financial services

• Demonstrated experience in credit analysis, adjudication, and risk management

• Proven ability to analyze financial statements and build cash flow models

• Knowledge of commercial lending practices and credit structuring

• Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and professionalism in all interactions
