In addition there is a shift Allowance linked to this position. About the Role
We are looking for a person who will work as part of a 24/7/365 team to ensure the effective Service Assurance of our Core Networks and systems. In addition, you will be supporting several key areas around the business including Customer Technology Services, Business Services and Network Services, among others.
Our Service Operations Team are enthusiastic and bright individuals, who support the business and our customers, both locally and globally. How our team present and conduct themselves is important to us. This role represents an opportunity for a capable and enthusiastic individual who is truly passionate about delivering world-class service to customers.
Exceptional communication skills with verbal and written. A strong desire to learn from those around you. A real team ethos, with exceptional interpersonal skills. Attention to detail. Basic level knowledge of MS applications. Full and clean driving licence is essential as this role requires visits to other MT estate buildings, using MT vehicles. Excellent customer facing skills. Professional interaction with both our internal and external customers is always expected. Professional conduct always. Takes ownership and responsibility for what they do. Where they see improvements, they act. A can-do and proactive approach to work. A team player is essential for this role. Flexible approach to working shifts. Making sure that at the beginning and end of each shift, they are transparent with any ongoing incidents.
Please be aware that the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Police/Security Check.
Experience
Essential Criteria
2 or more years working in a similar environment. Experience of ITIL Incident & Change Management. Have an ability to communicate clearly and professionally. A full clean driving licence for use of MT vehicles.
Desired Criteria
Proficient using ServiceNow Change & Incident Management or similar platform. Knowledge of the telecoms industry. A self-motivated individual but also an excellent team player but with ability to work with little or no supervision. Excellent time management skills. Being punctual is some we expect from everyone. Ability to multitask. Each team member will have multiple tasks to deliver daily. Experience of Shift Working.
Education
Essential Qualifications
Minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent – Grade A - B, must include English. May have started or obtained a recognised Telecoms qualification such as CCNA.
