Summary Our Acheson Field Services team is currently seeking a full-time Chemical Cleaning Supervisor to support a variety of short- and long-term projects. This position reports to the Operations Manager and will play a key role in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensuring that health and safety remains our top priority by adhering to all safe work practices, policies, and procedures, and consistently adopting safe behaviors.
- Providing comprehensive training to employees on all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols and ensuring adherence to these practices in the field.
- Must have at least 2 years of chemical cleaning supervisor experience.
- Have an understanding of chemical compatibility.
- Have the ability to perform field chemical testing during chemical cleaning jobs from supplied testing procedure.
- Obtaining proper job permits promptly, following the designated procedures for each customer.
- Conducting field assessments for employees and forwarding valuations to operations or department coordinators for final review.
- Maintaining strong customer relationships, which includes obtaining specific job instructions, receiving feedback on progress, and promptly addressing any scope changes or directives from customers.
- Maintaining continuous communication with dispatch and operations or department coordinators, keeping them updated on job progress and anticipated timelines for the release of manpower and equipment.
- Ensuring thorough job preparation, including participating in briefing sessions with customers and assigned personnel, managing and distributing required job materials, and effectively communicating specific job-related instructions.
- Fulfilling post-job requirements such as equipment decontamination, conducting equipment inspections, and notifying dispatch of equipment availability for fleet release.
- Other duties as assigned.
Key Accountabilities
- Maintain Health and Safety as the number one goal by following policies, processes, and procedures, and participating in hazard recognition/mitigation.
- Responsible for the safe operations and maintenance of equipment
- Supply a safe and effective service to our customers.
- Timely reporting of work-related accidents/incidents to manager.
Experience, Qualifications & Education
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience working with various Chemical Cleaning.
- A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Valid Class 5 drivers’ license with an acceptable commercial driver’s abstract is required; Valid Class 3A drivers’ license is preferred.
- Has clear understanding of various high-pressure tools, nozzles, and applications & required water pressure.
- Clear understanding of water jetting theories.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong proficiency with Google products
Working Conditions
- Willingness to participate in nightshifts and overtime is a requirement.
- Willing to travel and stay in camp/hotels when required.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended periods of time.
- Ability to travel across Canada as needed.
- Capable of standing for long durations and able to lift and rig in hoses as part of a team.
- Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to new working environments.
