About the role

Marketing Manager– You will lead the development and execution of the global strategy and market plans for Graphene. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, you will collaborate closely with R&D, Operations, Graphic Design, and other cross-functional teams to drive effective implementation.

This role is accountable for delivering commercial performance through disciplined price and margin management, competitive intelligence gathering and analysis, and the development and communication of compelling value propositions. You will also spearhead new product launches to fuel growth and enhance market positioning.

Additionally, you will guide the continuous development, refinement, and execution of 1–3-year end-market strategies aligned with business objectives to accelerate growth and expand market share.

Responsibilities:

-**Value Proposition Development:**Identify customer pain points and translate them into compelling, segment-specific value propositions that strengthen portfolio positioning, highlight clear customer benefits, and drive product success. -**Innovation Management:**Partner with R&D, customers, and Operations to identify and advance innovative opportunities. Lead workshops, develop robust business cases, manage the stage-gate process, and drive successful commercial launches. Develop and execute launch strategies for key new products. Proactively assess evolving customer needs and collaborate with Sales and Product Management to deliver solutions that accelerate growth and enhance margins. -**Sales Enablement:**Create and maintain impactful sales tools-including presentations, technical selling narratives, case studies, and sales spotlight programs-to equip distribution channels, direct sales teams, and transfer partners to win new business. -**Market Intelligence:**Continuously monitor market trends, customer insights, competitor activity, and regulatory developments. Translate insights into actionable recommendations for segment strategy, product development, pricing strategy, and go-to-market optimization. Establish target pricing frameworks and partner with Sales to manage pricing exceptions in alignment with annual revenue and profitability objectives. Leverage business intelligence, including emerging technologies and market shifts, to inform strategic action plans. -**Financial Accountability:**Own segment market share and profitability growth. Support budgeting, forecasting, and P&L analysis as needed, and apply financial insights to prioritize initiatives that deliver sustainable, profitable segment expansionTop of Form.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with minimum 5 years of commercial experience.
  • Possess industry experience in chemical end-markets – with demonstrated knowledge of market dynamics, customer needs, and channel structures
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to understand product chemistry and translate technical features into clear, compelling commercial value propositions, while evaluating technical feasibility and market alignment.
  • Demonstrate proven ability to analyze market and financial data, uncover growth opportunities, prioritize high-ROI initiatives, and make strategic go-to-market decisions that accelerate profitable segment growth.
  • Hold proven experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior management.
  • Possess strong ability to analyze and interpret financial data, translating findings into actionable recommendations and using financial insights to prioritize initiatives that drive profitable segment decisions.
  • Strong business, financial, and pricing acumen, with a proven ability to deliver results.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving capabilities.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
