Operations Compliance and Incentives Manager

Purpose
Reporting to the VP, Supply Chain, Canada, the incumbent will take ownership of Operations pay and incentive review, and reporting as they relate to the performance of Operations teams and results across Canada.
Role Responsibilities
- The primary function and majority of work relates to Operations performance and incentive review.
- Verify all hourly paid calculations per CBAs and site guidelines, ensure scheduling accuracy, and validation of pay rates, overtime rate, premiums etc.
- Assist in developing and implementing incentives and manage exceptions.
- Audit operational practices and procedures, such as the SHRINK playbook and incentives to ensure adherence.
- Oversee the procurement of operational supplies and services, that directly impact operational costs. This includes annually tendering frequently used products and services to ensure competitive pricing.
- Conduct field testing of products and services to ensure they meet or exceed quality and service standards necessary for the business.
- Support field teams with change initiatives, create supportive documentation, and provide coaching.
- Provide recommendations to HR and Operation teams for resolution of hourly Operations performance/retention issues based on data.
- Complies with Sysco's Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.
- Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.
- Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years progressive related experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Operations, or related field.
- Experience using quantitative and qualitative analytical methods to measure the effectiveness of programs, interventions, and projects; experience with statistical/infographic software is an asset.
- Strong research, analytical, project management and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work with multiple data sources and combining relevant information to generate insights from analyses, creating effective presentations.
- Demonstrated knowledge in incentive and performance management
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including skills in developing and delivering presentations for audiences of all levels of business
- Ability to work in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
