Description

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets in the construction industry.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Ontario and Canadian Construction market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create tailored solutions that meet client needs.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential growth areas.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business deals.
  • Provide regular reports on business development activities and achievements.

Profile

A successful Senior Business Development Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales, directly for a GTA based ICI or Industrial Buildings Construction General Contractor of mid to large company size.
  • An excellent network of industry contacts in the local market to leverage and pipeline new business development opportunities
  • Strong understanding of market trends and client relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets effectively.
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
