We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as a Banking & Capital Markets Consulting Senior Manager. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing strategic consulting services to our clients in the financial sector, focusing on business and technology solutions across end-to-end banking lifecycles and operating models in Credit, Payments, or Digital Banking Operations. As a Senior Manager, you will lead a team of consultants, working closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and objectives. Leveraging your expertise, you will develop and implement innovative solutions, optimize processes, and drive business growth for our clients.

What You Will Do KPMG’s Banking & Capital Markets Consulting Practice helps clients develop winning strategies to support strategic business objectives, leveraging innovative technology and leading-edge capabilities to both create and capture lasting value.

As a Senior Manager in our Banking & Capital Markets practice, you will have overall responsibility to plan and manage client engagements, lead the day-to-day operation and execution of services as well as contribute to business development activities by

  • Defining clients’ business and technology strategy
  • Driving value-based outcomes and solutions that address clients’ critical business problems
  • Managing the planning and delivery of multiple client engagements ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of quality work in line with client expectations.
  • Delivering transformation and banking systems implementation programs (requirements, test, deployment, etc.)
  • Understanding the critical role technology plays in all areas of the client’s business lines.
  • Collaborating with both internal technology experts, as well as third parties to deliver innovative and transformative engagements.
  • Developing trusted client relationships at the Director, Senior Director, AVP and VP levels, and managing engagement teams of up to 15 practitioners.
  • Driving business development opportunities with out clients
  • Motivating your team and creating a culture of inclusion. You will provide day-to-day guidance and actionable coaching to your team.

What You Bring To The Role

  • 10+ years relevant experience in management or technology consulting with broad experience in engagement management, and business development
  • 8+ years banking credit, payments, or digital banking operations experience and expertise, along with corresponding banking systems
  • A Bachelors’ degree in a related discipline (may include undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Management/Business Administration, Engineering, Business Information/Technology, Finance, Public Administration, Data Sciences) - graduate degree is an asset
  • Successful track record of leading complex management/technology consulting engagements across the solution delivery lifecycle.
  • Experience in planning and tracking projects, comfortable to work with executive and C-suite clients and superior communication skills.
