Position Overview

The Maintenance Summer Student will assist the Maintenance team with preventative maintenance activities, equipment upkeep, and general facility support. This role provides exposure to industrial equipment, manufacturing processes, and maintenance best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance team with new software implementation
• Support maintenance team with inventory management
• Help maintain and organize maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas
• Support the creation of facility mapping
• Participate in documenting maintenance activities and updating maintenance records
• Support general facility upkeep and maintenance related projects
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies while working in the plant environment
• Assist with other maintenance related duties as required

The Ideal Candidate for This Position Will Have

• Currently enrolled in a Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related engineering or technical program
• Strong interest in maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial operations
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn hands on skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
