**Job Summary:**The Education and Rentals Program Worker (PW – ER) plays a key role in the growth, coordination, and administration of Momiji’s Education and Rental programs. This position is responsible for increasing program participation and rental revenue through instructor recruitment, program coordination, marketing and promotion, and on-site event oversight. The PW – ER will take a lead administrative role in the Education program and act as the on-site lead for rental events. A successful candidate in this role requires flexibility, strong organizational skills, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
**Working Hours:**Momiji runs seven days per week. This is a full-time, onsite position with varying hours. You will be working approximately 37.5 hours per week. This role requires a flexible schedule, including regular evenings and weekends based on program and rental needs. Hours will vary week-to-week, and may exceed 37.5 hours during peak program and rental periods.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver Education Programs, including scheduling sessions, managing registrations, and supporting instructors
- Recruit and onboard instructors, with a focus on evening and weekend programming
- Develop and promote programs through course guides, marketing materials, and outreach strategies
- Monitor program participation and implement strategies to increase enrollment and engagement
- Coordinate rental bookings, including responding to inquiries, preparing contracts, and confirming logistics
- Act as the on-site lead for education sessions and rental events, ensuring smooth operations and a positive participant experience
- Collaborate with internal teams to support event setup, scheduling, and execution
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting for programs and rentals
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- College diploma in Communications, Business Administration, Event Management, Recreation, or a related field; or equivalent experience
- Experience in customer service, community programming, and/or event coordination
- Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-service-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing schedules and demands
- Experience working in a seniors’ or not-for-profit environment is an asset
- Japanese language skills are considered an asset.
