Job Summary
The Departmental Assistant provides administrative support to the department, ensuring efficient operations and effective communication.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to faculty and staff.
- Manage departmental correspondence and communications.
- Organize meetings and maintain schedules.
- Assist with budget tracking and financial reporting.
- Maintain departmental records and files.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of administrative experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a university setting.
- Knowledge of university policies and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Information
This is a 12-month term position with the possibility of extension based on departmental needs.
