About the role

With a rapidly expanding student base and new content streams launching, there is a need for a skilled video editor to support the creation of engaging YouTube videos and course materials. The role involves collaborating closely to bring a clear creative vision to life, with a particular emphasis on on-screen motion graphics that elevate the learning experience. The ideal candidate will be reliable, communicative, and able to deliver visually appealing edits that go beyond standard captions, drawing inspiration from creators like Tom Noske. This is an opportunity to contribute to multiple projects and help shape the visual identity of a new personal brand in the AI education space.
Deliverables
- Edit video content for YouTube and online courses, ensuring clarity and engagement
- Design and implement on-screen motion graphics that enhance educational value without unnecessary complexity
- Collaborate to understand creative direction and feedback, adapting edits as needed
- Maintain consistent visual style across all content
- Meet agreed-upon deadlines for project delivery
Requirements
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve)
- Experience creating motion graphics, with a portfolio demonstrating relevant work
- Strong sense of visual storytelling and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively and respond promptly to feedback
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects
- Familiarity with YouTube content standards and trends is a plus
- Interest in AI, technology, or education sectors is advantageous
