Front Desk Concierge
Guardteck Security is hiring a Full-Time Security Concierge in Burlington, Ontario.
What you will be doing:
- Act as the first point of contact for all residents, tenants, and visitors entering the premises.
- Provide professional customer service and maintain a welcoming environment.
- Conduct regular patrols throughout the property to ensure safety and security.
- Monitor CCTV systems and promptly respond to any irregularities or incidents.
- Complete and maintain detailed daily logs and incident reports.
- Assist with access control, visitor management, and emergency response procedures.
- Maintain clear communication with management, clients, and team members.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 1600–0800 hours
- Saturday and Sunday: 24-hour coverage
- Shift length: 8–12 hours
What you should have for this position:
- Valid Security Guard Licence (Ontario)
- Minimum 12 months of security experience
- 2–3 years of concierge experience
- Experience handling vagrants and intoxicated individuals calmly and safely
- Strong verbal conflict de-escalation skills
- Proficient in English (verbal and written)
- Experience completing high-quality, detailed reports
- Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor
- Comfortable working independently or within a diverse team
- Strong observation and situational awareness skills
