Position Summary:
Working in collaboration with a regulated health care professional, the Diagnostic Imaging Student will:
- Foster and maintain a positive environment that ensures patients feel informed and cared for;
- Facilitate patient navigation and way finding;
- Provide non-consent related patient education;
- Perform adhoc administrative functions to support the unit by answering the phone and providing scheduling assistance; Other duties as assigned to support the care team.
Qualifications:
- In final year or recently graduated from a CMRITO approved education program in Ontario;
- Demonstrated ability to recognize limitations;
- Typing and computer experience an asset;
- Self-directed, reliable and motivated;
- Organized, detail-oriented, good analytical skills;
- Excellent communication skills; and Satisfactory attendance and performance is required.
