Position Summary:

Working in collaboration with a regulated health care professional, the Diagnostic Imaging Student will:

  • Foster and maintain a positive environment that ensures patients feel informed and cared for;
  • Facilitate patient navigation and way finding;
  • Provide non-consent related patient education;
  • Perform adhoc administrative functions to support the unit by answering the phone and providing scheduling assistance; Other duties as assigned to support the care team.

Qualifications:

  • In final year or recently graduated from a CMRITO approved education program in Ontario;
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize limitations;
  • Typing and computer experience an asset;
  • Self-directed, reliable and motivated;
  • Organized, detail-oriented, good analytical skills;
  • Excellent communication skills; and Satisfactory attendance and performance is required.
