Distribution Center & Customs Coordinator
About the role
We are searching for a detail-oriented Distribution Center & Customs Coordinator to support customs compliance, cross-border shipping operations, order processing, and daily warehouse administration activities within our Client's Warehouse Facility. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accurate preparation and timely processing of customs documentation for international shipments while supporting the efficient movement of goods across Canada-US borders.
Key responsibilities include verifying customer orders, coordinating freight and transportation inquiries, tracking shipments, and resolving shipping discrepancies. The Distribution Center & Customs Coordinator will be responsible for preparing, processing, and maintaining customs and cross-border documentation, including commercial invoices, ACE/ACI manifests, USMCA certificates, CERS reports, and other import/export compliance documents. This position will serve as a key liaison between carriers, customs brokers, customers, and internal operations teams to ensure regulatory compliance and smooth shipment execution.
Additional responsibilities include filing and scanning records, supporting audit requirements, and providing administrative assistance to warehouse and transportation operations. Inventory support such as cycle counts, discrepancy investigation, and inventory record maintenance is also required in the Warehouse Facility.
Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in customs administration, cross-border logistics, transportation coordination, or import/export operations. A strong understanding of customs documentation requirements, trade compliance processes, and international shipping procedures is essential. Candidates must possess excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. The ability to manage large volumes of documentation and data with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail is critical to success in this role.
Our Client’s preferred Salary Target is $53 000 - $57 000 and we encourage all applicants interested in this opportunity to apply. Please note, the hiring salary will be based on the selected candidate’s experience and ability to support the organization.
