Loomis International (CA) Inc. is the spearheading office representing Canada on a national scale. Our office is in a Small Business format located in Mississauga, close to Pearson Airport, and is ready for expansion.
Salary: $71,000.00 CAD per year
Responsibilities Include:
- Branch Security
- Leading and scheduling opening and closing procedures,
- Responsible for access management to the facility (with crew and visitors),
- Firearms auditing, including locker checks,
- Ensuring functional and active CCTV monitoring and review of operations,
- Oversee and keep an accurate manifest for Control Room,
- Enforce compliance with all Loomis H&S and Security Policies
- Overall orderliness of the branch, including office and warehouse spaces.
- Staff Supervision
- Schedule crew in a timely manner and ensure that the facility is staffed according to workload demand and security requirements,
- Distribute and regulate overtime fairly and equally, taking into account and balancing employee preferences, principles of fairness, and fiscal responsibility,
- Oversee route constructs for crew
- Supervise AST Leads, and Armored Road Crew,
- Oversee warehouse activities when required
- Oversee AST Leads with evaluations and reviews and verify AST Leads are leading and training crews through their assigned duties
- Work with the General Manager, Operations Manager and Training personnel to ensure corrective action is taken for policy violations
- Assist in drafting and delivering ECRs and oversee and deliver remedial training on an as needed basis
- Notify the Operations Manager in regard to all matters requiring escalation and/or intervention from HR
- Fleet management
- Oversee operation of vehicles and safety of vehicles,
- Scheduling maintenance of vehicles,
- Responsible for gathering accident reports and managing accident repair services,
- Ensuring vehicles are neat and orderly prior to a route,
- Ensuring CCTV is operational in all vehicles before a route,
- Verifying all lock systems are functional,
- Responsible for maintenance for all equipment within the fleet.
- Auditing
- Responsible for random audits for keys, vault, Risk Index, and Firearms,
- Responsible for maintaining up-to-date internal and external audits.
- Communication:
- Providing Internal-External reporting/briefing to the Branch Manager (and other stakeholders when required) within a timely manner,
- Timely response to requests by email/phone for customers and staff,
- Excellent communication skills, sound use of judgement, and is willing to work as part of a team-based environment
- Cover Runs, Dispatch & Control Room duties when required
- Candidate must be willing to work flexible hours, usual would be Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with possibility of longer shifts (early morning/later evening/weekends)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Logistics or transportation experience required
- Post-Secondary Education is Preferred
- 2-3 Years of Leadership Experience a plus
- 1-2 Years of Safety and Security Experience a plus
