About the role
Reporting to the Agribusiness Manager, the Customer Experience Sales Specialist – Level I (CESS-I) is responsible for working with the retail team to ensure successful day-to-day operations related to products and services for all new and existing customers. This role will be primarily focus on in-office administration with occasional chemical shed/yard operations assistance during in-season. Product knowledge, accurate administration and customer service are a priority, along with open, honest and consistent communication.

- Work with all areas of the business location to ensure a professional customer experience in an accurate and timely manner
- Ensure that health, safety and security policies are adhered to within company policy
- Location and Customer Administration, including receiving incoming inventory and ensuring all paperwork is properly tracked and processed
- Follow protocol related to all out-going product orders including correct documentation
- Operation of forklift for shipping/receiving products via totes and pallets in the absence of Operations Lead
- Able to knowledgeably speak about all products including protection products, fertilizer, seed, and specialty services
- Help grow existing/new customers by creating call lists that encompass knowledge of on farm storage and buying patterns
- Be an active part of a team that is committed to building client loyalty
- Other duties as required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- College graduate with a Major in an area of Business Administration or Agricultural Science is preferred, but not required
- Previous work on-farm or in the agriculture field will be considered an asset
- Basic shipping/receiving experience, including inventory tracking and entering
- Basic accounting techniques and with practical experience using computers and software including Microsoft 365
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, exceptional communication skills
- Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude
- Familiar with, and able to issue/review documentation with accuracy; load-out tickets, shipping/receiving paperwork, and other administrative duties as needed
- Effective communicator ensuring customer needs are being met and all team members are kept updated
- Familiar with The Rack as a company along with products/services available
- Must live in or close to the town of Naicam SK
