Contract: April 1, 2026 – March 31, 2027 (248 business days, probable extension)

About The Role We are looking for a highly experienced Senior QA Specialist with proven expertise leading manual testing and data reconciliation for large, complex business-critical systems that undergo high annual change rates. Our ideal candidate excels at developing comprehensive test plans/cases for systems involving dynamic data, business rules, and images while specializing in AODA/WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility testing across complete 3-tier web platforms. They will provide strategic testing advice, organize testing efforts across GUI/non-GUI environments, and execute functional/integration/regression/UAT with performance/stress/load validation.

This onsite leadership role requires excellent coordination across multiple teams with tight timelines/conflicting priorities, deep workflow/portfolio management knowledge, and hands-on experience with IBM J-Rules Engine, Jira, Bugzilla, HP/Microfocus tools, plus Oracle database testing using accessibility tools like WAVES, JAWS, NVDA, and Compliance Sheriff.

What You'll Do

Lead comprehensive testing strategies for complex, high-change business systems with AODA compliance.

Must Haves

• Proven experience leading manual testing + data reconciliation for large complex business-critical systems.
• Developing test plans/cases/expected results for complex business systems.
• Test strategies for systems with data/rules/images (high annual change rates).
• AODA accessibility testing (WCAG 2.0 AA) for complete 3-tier web platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on testing strategy, tools, resources for GUI/non-GUI systems.
• Plan/organize testing efforts (SIT, UAT, stress tests).
• Develop test plans/scripts/cases; execute against components.
• Execute functional/integration/system/regression tests.
• Defect tracking (JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps, ALM).
• Automated testing (UFT, Selenium, Postman); CI/CD integration.

Experience And Skill Set Requirements QA Skills (45%)

• Manual testing execution + data reconciliation for complex systems.
• Test plans/cases for high-change data/rules/images systems.
• Data analysis/cleansing/conversion on large systems.
• Test execution under tight timelines/conflicting priorities.
• AODA testing aligned with WCAG 2.0 AA standards.

Technical Skills (35%)

• Workflow/portfolio management, rule-driven solutions.
• Web-based 3-tier platforms testing.
• Tools: Jira, Bugzilla, HP/Microfocus Product Suite, IBM J-Rules Engine.

Position Details

• Location: 777 Bay Street, Toronto, Ontario (5 days onsite per week)
• Hours: 7.25 hours per day
• Security Clearance: No Clearance Required
