Responsibilities
-
Planning, supervision and coordination of receipt, storage and shipment of product lines
-
Verification of incoming and outgoing materials
-
Work closely with applicable departments (sales, purchasing, etc.) to ensure the product is delivered in a timely manner
-
Responsible for productivity and quality measurements and improvements in the warehouse
-
Inventory control and order selection
-
Serving customers when necessary
-
Coordinate and assist in the development and maintenance of efficient and effective operating administrative processes and safety standards
-
Assist in warehouse safety, cleanliness and waste disposal
-
Able to lift up to 100 lbs. repeatedly each day
-
Driving a forklift in this type of setting is a plus or we will help you get certified
-
Must have basic math skills for inventory counts; and English verbal and written skills to be able to read purchase orders and communicate with team members
Qualifications
- 3 years experience in a warehouse, distribution center, shipping and receiving department, or similar environment
- Hazardous Materials Training
- Reliable, safe and a team player
- Proven leadership for successful day to day operation of warehouse facilities
- Forklift Certification
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs

Convoy Supply Ltd. was established in British Columbia in 1972 as a supplier to the insulation, roofing and siding industries.
Demonstrating a strong commitment to our customers and our suppliers with some key acquisitions along the way has helped us to grow to today's operating strength of 39 outlets, of which 36 are Convoy branches and three are Simplex asphalt facilities, doing business in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec plus Washington and Oregon in the US. Operating a full fleet of company owned and operated trucks including specialized equipment and cranes.
