- Key Responsibilities
- Delivering exceptional patient care and building strong, personal connections at every visit
- Providing hygiene treatment based on clinical findings and patient goals
- Educating patients to improve their oral health and treatment experience
- Collecting dental/medical history and preparing patients for the Orthodontist
- Taking & processing X-rays while following all safety protocols
- Performing hygiene care: cleaning, polishing, flossing, and examining gum health
- Assisting with orthodontic procedures (bonding, removal of brackets, placing/removing archwires, etc.)
- Keeping accurate patient records and notes
- Supporting lab duties and sterilization of equipment
- Engaging in aftercare calls and patient support
- Traveling to satellite locations when needed
- Collaborating with the team to maintain a respectful, positive, and high-energy clinic environment
✅ Requirements
- Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree, with registration/licensure in good standing with the provincial hygiene regulatory authority
- 2+ years’ experience as a Dental Hygienist (preferred, not required)
- CPR & First Aid certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills — a true patient-first mindset
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Orthodontic experience is an asset, but we’re happy to train the right candidate
